NOAA nowCOAST Status Message

Users will continue to experience occasional slow map response times, errors
being returned, and/or missing images due to an issue with the web mapping
software used by nowCOAST which is beyond our control along with heavy web
traffic due to Tropical Storm Harvey.

Personnel at NWS/NCEP Central Operations are working around the clock to
ensure that nowCOAST's map services and map viewer remain available to our
users and partners.
A permanent solution will be implemented soon. However, an exact date has
not been set yet.

If you have any questions, please contact us at nowcoast.team at noaa.gov during
normal business hours and contact sdm at noaa.gov after hours.

Users may also want to investigate  NWS  map services at
https://idpgis.ncep.noaa.gov/arcgis/rest/services  as an alternative until
nowCOAST map services return to normal.
