[Ncep.list.grouptravel] ACTION DUE AUG 23: AMS 98th Annual Meeting, Austin, Texas, January 7-11, 2018

All,

The AMS  travel information to include the list of hotels
<https://annual.ametsoc.org/2018/index.cfm/travel/> is now available
online: https://annual.ametsoc.org/2018/index.cfm/travel/

Rooms in the AMS hotel block will go fast, so recommend reserving very soon.

NWSHQ says you should not be charged an upfront fee of a one-night stay and
taxes. Texas is a tax exempt state.  Call the hotel after booking if you
have any questions/concerns.

By Friday, Center Directors will be informed of which travelers will be
placed on the official group list versus the waiting list.
