[Ncep.list.fv3-announce] NEMSfv3gfs and FV3 git repositories were updated

Dear all,

Following changes were committed to the FV3 git repository:

Task #41313 <https://vlab.ncep.noaa.gov/redmine/issues/41313>: various
interpolation methods to output fields in history file and accumulated
precipitation rate

1) sfc pressure is interpolated through bilinear interpolation with
non-dimensionalized pressure:
(ps/stndrd_atmos_ps)**(rd_over_g*stndrd_atmos_lapse).

2) 3D winds from dynamics, 10 meter winds and model lowest level winds from
physics are interpolated though vector interpolation. Winds generated
through the vector interpolation pass through pole smoothly compared to
winds from scalar interpolation.

3) Radiation fields, 2 meter temperature/specific humidity, and
precipitation rate from physics are interpolated though bilinear, all other
fields are interpolated though "nearest neighbor". The fields from bilinear
interpolation are much smoother than the fields interpolated through
nearest neighbor.

4)A new option to output accumulated precip rate is added. The logical
variable lprecip_accu is added to physics namelist. By default lprecip_accu
is .true., and model will output accumulated precip. If lprecip_accu is
.false., old precip rate with bucket length fhzero will be output.
