NOAA nowCOAST Status Message
9:00 AM EDT Wed Sept. 20, 2017

Weather radar reflectivity images for Puerto Rico  are not available on
nowCOAST at the present time. This is not a nowCOAST problem.

The NWS reported this morning that the WSR-88D at San Juan, PR (TJUA) has
malfunctioned and is inoperable (see NWS message below).

TJUA HAS MALFUNCTIONED AND IS INOPERABLE. AN ASSESSMENT OF THE PROBLEM AND ESTIM
ATE ON RETURN TO SERVICE WILL BE MADE ONCE TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS RESIDE.
