[Ncep.list.nems.announce] issue running NEMS/GSM

Hi,
  I am trying to run the NEMS/GSM at t1534, and it seems that I need to
have quilting turned on when I run, but the model hangs when it goes to
write the 1st output file when I start the model with an existing forecast
(e.g. FHROT = 9) as is done in the IAU cycling.  The quilting works if I
initialize with the analysis (FHROT=0) or run T1574 without quilting
starting with the 9-hour forecast.
  Is anyone aware of this issue?  If so, is there something special I need
to do in the script, or it is a bug in the model?
