[Ncep.list.fv3-announce] NEMSfv3gfs and FV3 git repository updates 20180502

Dear all,

Following changes were committed to the NEMSfv3gfs and FV3 repositories:

Task: 49248: adding capability to output 3D fields in physics history file
and a few other fixes

In this ticket, the capability to output 3D fields in physics history file
is added, the radar reflectivity is turned on and output to physics history
file for Thompson MP and wsm6 MP regression tests. The convective cloud
water can be output for GFDL MP when requested.

The hardcoded setting for namelist variable cnvcld (cnvcld=.false.) is
removed for GFDL MP. When cnvcld=.true., convective cloud water is added to
total cloud water that is passed to radiation. The GFDL MP regression test
is updated with .cnvcld=.true., and new GFDL MP baseline is created.

Fixes on MG3 scheme are added.

Due to the code updates, baseline are updated for GFDL MP test,
Thompson/wsm6 test and MG MP test. There is no impact on all other tests.
