[Ncep.list.fv3-announce] NEMSfv3gfs and FV3 git repository updates 20180309

Dear all,

Following changes were committed to the NEMSfv3gfs and FV3 repository:

Task 46546: doxygen for FV3 dynamical core; updated fms infrastructure;
NEMSfv3gfs regression environment

This update brings in three new elements that will not change answers:

1.doxygen inline documentation for the FV3 dynamical core. This update will
also change the license from the GPLv3 to LGPL.

2.The fms infrastructure will be updated to include the latest FMS
top-of-trunk.

3.First part of code changes to set up NEMSfv3gfs regression environment
for Gaea was committed to NEMSfv3gfs repo. Second part of parting changes
will be committed to NEMS and NEMSfv3gfs repos after the NEMS changes are
tested for all the NEMS applications.

Regression test passed on all the current supported platform: wcoss
phase1/2, cray, theia and jet. If you have any question, please contact
