Dusan,

The "source /etc/profile" was in the modules.nems because some of the
scripts that ran modules.nems did not already have the modulecmd
available.  Also, the "module purge" command does not always work
properly.  Due to this, there were some tweaks in modules.nems and the
environment_*() functions on platform-by-platform basis.  Splitting the
system into module-setup.*sh.inc and modulefiles lets us work with all use
cases in a single modulefile.
