*African Monsoons:*



Moisture surpluses of over 100 mm (more than 200% of normal rainfall) were
observed over parts of Guinea, Sierra Leone, southeastern Mali, eastern
Ghana, central Togo, northern Benin, southeastern Nigeria and southwestern
Cameroon.



Week-1 outlook shows an increased chance for above average rainfall over
much of Guinea, Sierra Leone, northern Liberia, northwestern Côte d’Ivoire,
southern Mali, western Burkina Faso, much of Nigeria, southern Niger, parts
of Cameroon, southwestern Chad and northwestern CAR.



*Asian-Australian Monsoons:*



Not available for this week.





*North American Monsoons:*



Near-average rainfall has been observed over northwestern Mexico and
southwestern US during the past 7 days.



Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days were below-average for much of
Mexico and southwestern US.



NCEP/GFS Forecasts call for near-average precipitation for southwestern US
and below-average for northwestern Mexico during 22 – 28 July, 2019.
