[Ncep.list.emc.monsoondesk] Why Climatological Sea-Ice fraction send to GFS, but not the one computed by MOM-SIS

I think its like this 

the call set_frac_area (Ice%part_size(isc:iec,jsc:jec,:) , 'OCN', xmap_sfc) in flux_exchange.f90 sets the fractional area of ice to xmap_sfc. 

this fractional area is then used to sum up the data in get_from_xgrid.
