 Update per Xu Li's request in comment:14:

 * Set land/sea ice flag value for nsst variable `xz` to 30. Previously,
 the flag value was 0.

 * Set land/sea ice flag value for nsst variable `tref` to the skin
 temperature computed by the land/ice model. Previously, a flag value of
 255K was used.
