2. On NHCN, EDEX was stopped/started this morning to put into place a
change to the NWPS Pacific smart init. EDEX had not been bounced in a while
and it took 28 minutes to come back up. While it was in the process of
coming back up TAFB forecasters could not run any text formatters /
transmit text products. Also, high seas sprint development work - could not
save files and the GFE grid manager would not open at one point. Chris
Mello called NCF to ensure that EDEX came back up entirely and properly.


1. Update - Mike Brennan recreated the ATCF genesis probability files for
E36 and E37 by hand.
