Here is today's summary of NHC computer operations:
--- Craig Mattocks

----------

TAFB:
1. Nuisances after the latest AWIPS upgrade persist. Delays in the
launching/editing of text products from GFE and the AWIPS2 editor and
product dissemination delays continue, particularly on the LX1 workstation
at the Atlantic desk. Sometimes GFE crashes (its icon disappears) after it
has been minimized. No problems were reported this morning on other
workstations. TSB's AWIPS Sysadmins will continue to work on these
lingering glitches.
HSU:
No new issues.
Other items:

Wednesday, 01/25: Luna GPFS (high-performance parallel filesystem) tuning -
no access to Luna, Luna unmounted from Tide from 6am - 6pm.

GPFS tuning on Luna - developer outage from 11Z – 20Z.
