Here is today's summary of NHC computer operations:
--- Mark

Chris Mello is still looking into the TWDAT update script.
TSB and NCO are still working on local GOES-east ingest system, and
alternate RSO processing.

SAB fixes and COTX forecasts should now be ingesting in the ATCF.

A quick fix for the problem with the San Juan TCD not posting on the NHC
web page was implemented. A more permanent solution will be implemented
within the next 2 weeks.

The problem with the URLs for the WFO HLS was fixed.

The issue with the GTWO shapefile was resolved.

We followed up with NCO on the Doppler velocities being off by a factor of
2 in N-AWIPS, but a fix is a long ways off.

The problems with running the guidance for AL02/AL92 were due to the switch
from AL02 back to AL92. The guidance did actually run, but took longer than

EMC confirmed that GFS vortex relocation is now skipped for systems based
on the storm type, but the storm type list was not comprehensive. James
provided the full list, so we still have to revert back to invests for
post-tropical systems for now.

Other items:
The two-factor gmail authentication impacted the Thunderbird email client.
If anyone is using Thunderbird and enables the two-factor process, put in
an NCO helpdesk ticket for the reconfiguration.

Jeri Schwietert updated the Alumni map outside of Rick's office. The new
version will be posted today.
