release has been made possible due to the dedicated
efforts of multiple researchers and programmers without
whose unrelenting commitment this effort would not have
been possible. The development group of WAVEWATCH III
now spans three continents and at last count stands at
38, with many more making contributions for further
development of the model. WAVEWATCH III model
development has now transitioned more into a community
driven effort, although code management is still done at
NCEP.</span></span></font></p>
