The awips2dev list reported one site (Unidata) having multiple .md5
files every time EDEX is restarted so it might be something to look
for.  Not sure what build they used.

This started happening with 16.2.2, and seems to affect every file in
/awips2/edex/data/utility:

ls -al /awips2/edex/data/utility/edex_static/base/distribution

-rw-r--r--  1 awips fxalpha    145 Jul 19 13:54 wcp.xml
-rw-rw-rw-  1 awips fxalpha     32 Jul 19 13:57 wcp.xml.md5
-rw-rw-rw-  1 awips fxalpha     32 Jul 19 14:05 wcp.xml.md5.md5
-rw-rw-rw-  1 awips fxalpha     32 Jul 19 14:06 wcp.xml.md5.md5.md5

one new file for each time EDEX is started.  

Anyone seen this before or know what to do?
