Release of NOAA nowCOAST V6.6.0

NWS/NCEP's Operational Daily Global Near-Surface Sea Temperature (NSST)
Analysis has been restored on nowCOAST.  The NSST analysis has not been
available from nowCOAST since April 19, 2023 when nowCOAST was moved to
AWS.  The NSST analysis is available via nowCOAST's OGC compliant Web Map
Service (WMS).

Layer Name:  global_sea_surface_temperature

Background:
NWS/NCEP Operational Global SST Analysis is generated by the Near-Surface
Sea Temperature (NSST) Scheme of the NWS/NCEP Global Data Assimilation
System (GDAS) and the Global Forecast System (GFS). The global analysis
provides estimates of surface water temperatures for the world oceans, seas
(e.g. Black Sea) and the Great Lakes. The spatial resolution of global
analysis is approximately 1/12 degree. The analysis is generated by NCEP
once per day.

Users will now be able to obtain maps of both the NASA Twice Daily North
American SST Composite and the NWS/NCEP Daily Global SST Analysis from the
nowCOAST WMS.

NOAA nowCOAST is a product and service of the National Ocean Service's
Office of Coast Survey.
