Reminder

The nowCOAST instance hosted at NWS/NCEP/NCO IDP Data Centers for the past
eight years will be turned off permanently.  The domain name
nowCOAST.noaa.gov will be redirected to the new open-source, cloud-based
nowCOAST on or about Monday, April 3, 2023.

Key Points:
- Unfortunately, not all the datasets on the present nowCOAST at IDP map
services will be available on the nowCOAST cloud-based map services or
displayed on the map viewer when nowCOAST at IDP is turned off.  Map services
for some of these missing data sets will be reestablished in the coming
years.

- GeoServices REST specification/protocol will not be supported any more.

- nowCOAST support will be downgraded from 24 x 7 to 8 x 5.

- Users of nowCOAST map services will need to take action before and on
April 3rd to use the new services or to seek alternative services such as
NWS Cloud GIS services.

- nowCOAST users will still be able to contact the nowCOAST Team via
nowcoast.team at noaa.gov.
