NESDIS/ESPC reported that

"As of 1800 UTC on January 4, 2023, GOES-18 is the official GOES-West
satellite stationed at 137.0 degrees West and the GOES-17 broadcast
services have been disabled. Many GOES-West products and services including
GRB, AWIPS, HRIT/EMWIN, DCS, and SAR have now been transitioned to the
GOES-18 data feed."

nowCOAST is now providing the GOES-18 (the official GOES-West satellite)
imagery via its map service *sat_meteo_imagery_time *and on the nowCOAST
map viewer.
