[Ncep.list.nos-nowcoast-status] NOS nowCOAST Status Message - Weather Radar Reflectivity Outage on Saturday

NOS nowCOAST Status Message
3:00 PM EDT Friday, March 26, 2021

 On Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 12 to 14 UTC (8-10 AM EDT), the NWS
Radar Operations Center (ROC) will be performing NEXRAD Level II
maintenance according to this notice:

 The radar outage will have downstream impacts to applications including
NOAA nowCOAST's weather radar reflectivity map service supported by the
NWS/National Center of Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations
(NCO).

The following applications will experience degradation:

  - Multi-Radar/Multi-Sensor (MRMS) Data will continue to flow, but will be
missing large sections for the LDM feed, over SBN/NOAAPort and the MRMS
website https://mrms.ncep.noaa.gov/data/

 - RIDGE II
 https://radar.weather.gov

- Inter-Regional Integrated Services (IRIS) - API Weather.gov
https://api.weather.gov

 - NowCOAST map services
 https://nowcoast.ncep.noaa.gov

- IDPGIS map services
 https://idpgis.ncep.noaa.gov

- Enhanced Data Display (EDD)
