Due to the ongoing severe weather and high winds this evening in parts of
the central U.S., winter weather conditions in other parts of the U.S, and
potential for high winds and waves on the Great Lakes on Thursday,
nowCOAST's map services are experiencing very heavy web traffic.

The heavy web traffic along with limited compute resources at the NOAA IDP
Data Centers are resulting in consistently very slow map response times
and/or timeout errors for users.

NWS/NCEP Central Operations personnel are looking into the issue.
