NOAA's nowCOAST continues to experience slow response times or no
response.  Here is the latest update from the NCEP/NCO's SDM regarding
NCO's investigation of the issue affecting nowCOAST and other applications
at the NOAA IDP Data Centers.

...IDP WEBSITE SLOWNESS AND CONNECTION ERRORS - UPDATE...


NCO's troubleshooting teams have traced the problem with heavy
loads on web servers in IDP data centers to IDPGIS. They have
blocked idpgis.ncep.noaa.gov to further isolate the issue. Also,
MRMS was failed over to a separate data center from IDPGIS at
~2130Z, and has since been restored.

Current Impacts:
-IDPGIS is blocked
-Intermittent slowness and connection errors to NOMADS
