NOAA nowCOAST Status Message

nowCOAST map viewer's right-click point weather forecast functionality is
not working.
Users of the map viewer are not able to obtain NWS weather text forecasts
when they right mouse click on a point in the U.S.    The problem is due to
unannounced changes to the NWS API api.weather.gov site that the nowCOAST
map viewer acquires the point forecasts from.

Presently, NWS/NCEP Central Operations estimates that a new version of
nowCOAST to account for the NWS API changes will be implemented sometime
during the week of  Aug. 17th, dependent on Critical Weather Day status.
