nowCOAST Status Message

A new version of NOAA’s nowCOAST was implemented yesterday on the NOAA
Integrated Dissemination Program’s Data Centers operated by NWS/NCEP
Central Operations. The new nowCOAST version 5.4 features the following
changes:

   - New map service to provide maps of forecast guidance from the NOS Lake
   Michigan and Huron Operational Forecast System. LMHOFS is a 3-D operational
   oceanographic forecast modeling system which generates forecast guidance of
   water levels, currents, and water temperatures for Lakes Michigan and Huron
   out to 120 hours.
   - Update geo-referenced hyperlinks to observations and forecasts to
   correct URLs or remove discontinued links
   - Update map viewer to point to the new location for the NOAA Electronic
   Navigational Charts overlay
   - Fix broken auto-update functionality on the map viewer

The name of the time-enabled map service for LMHOFS forecast guidance is
the following:
