NOAA/NOS nowCOAST Status Message

The latest GOES-EAST imagery is not available from nowCOAST's map services
and map viewer. GOES-EAST imagery has not updated on nowCOAST since
approximately 15 UTC Tuesday. The issue appears to be at NESDIS, the data
provider. NCEP Central Operations is investigating the issue with NESDIS
personnel.

FYI
For users of just the nowCOAST map viewer, the cloud imagery displayed for
the Eastern U.S. is from NESDIS' Global Mosaic of Geostationary Satellite
Imagery (GMGSI).  The GMGSI is of lower spatial resolution than the GOES
imagery and updated every 3 hours, compared to every 30 minutes for GOES
imagery.
