Since the display problem associated with the Cone of Uncertainty for
Hurricane Hector has been resolved,  the hazy map appearance on the
nowCOAST map viewer is no longer a problem.

Over the weekend, if you experience any problems with nowCOAST, please send
email to sdm at noaa.gov and  nowcoast.team at noaa.gov.

Attn:  Users of nowCOAST's Map Viewer

The problem associated with the Cone of Uncertainty for Hurricane Hector is
resulting in a 'haze' appearance on the map viewer.  This haze appearance
will likely continue until early Monday morning, August 13th.

Until then, to get rid of the haze, you can un-select the layer "Track
Forecast & Observed Track" on the map viewer's Layer Menu.
