[Ncep.list.idp.mrms.users] MRMS Failover to Boulder - ~1645Z 11/27/2018

MRMS Customers,

MRMS will be moved to the Boulder data center shortly at/around 1645Z
today. We expect only a minimal disruption of data associated with this
failover.

With this failover, MRMS v11.6.1 is now officially available. This release
implements the following upgrades to MRMS:


   1.

   Increased AutoNowCaster’s (ANC) product resolution from 5 to 1 km
   2.

   Additional products converted to SPC NIDS
   3.

   Modification to colormaps for RIDGE2 GeoTIFF
   4.

   Update to FLASH GRIB2 internal compression
   5. FLASH data is generally available now (LDM and web)


If you experience a longer loss of data or any other issues with the
failover and upgrade, please let the IDP On-boarding team know and we will
work through any issues.
