NOAA IDP-GIS Services Status Message
4:00 PM EDT Friday,  Sept. 11, 2020

IDP-GIS services are back and functioning properly.

Here is the latest information from NWS/NCO regarding IDP-GIS and other
applications.

...NCEP/IDP WEBSITES - UPDATE...

IDP-GIS, nowCOAST, and NOMADS grib filter services were turned
back on in the [NOAA] Boulder IDP data center after a new blocking rule
was applied at the Akamai level. NCO's troubleshooting teams are
closely monitoring the load on web servers to ensure the block is
working as expected.

Current Operational Impacts: IDP-GIS, nowCOAST, and NOMADS grib
services could still be intermittently slow/unresponsive while
the load stabilizes on web servers in the Boulder [Data Center].
