*Description:*
The First International Operational Satellite Oceanography Symposium is
scheduled for June 18-20, 2019 in College Park, MD. If you have anyone in
your office that is planning to attend, please submit your responses here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wYrxTd2lvGUuwU5Tcwu6k5wDqz_xGoyYKCzsd7d5Mik/edit?usp=sharing

This will be the first OSO symposium and will initiate the tradition of
gathering members involved in all levels of the value chain, from dataproviders
to users, of operational satellite oceanographic data, products and
applications. The themes to be addressed in this first symposium are 1)
redefining the operational paradigm, 2) linking data providers to
information providers, 3) helping users find the information they need, and
4) facilitating the end-to-end value chain.
