FYI, the AMS package cleared NOAA and is at DOC for approval. Please don't
have any attendees register until DOC approves. If you know of someone no
longer planning to attend the AMS meeting, please let me know. I'm hoping
to add NCEP employees who are currently on the waitlist.

Everyone,

This message is being sent to the list of attendees at the 97th Annual AMS
meeting in Seattle, Washington.  By way of update, the conference meeting
package has cleared NOAA and is at DOC for approval.

We've been informed that AMS will extend its early registration deadline
through December 15th.  Accordingly, *please do not register for this
meeting until such time as we receive DOC's approval*. We hope/anticipate
this approval will be received before the new early registration deadline
of December 15th, and will be sure to send out notice immediately after
approval is given.
