[Ncep.list.fv3-announce] Use git/2.18.0 on WCOSS-Cray for GitHub checkouts

All,

It was reported that checkouts from GitHub on the Crays (Luna/Surge) do not
work with the older/default version of git (git/2.14.2). *It is recommended
that you use git/2.18.0 on the Crays.* The checkouts from GitHub work with
that version. No other change is needed to resolve this issue.


*module use -a /usrx/local/dev/modulefiles*
*module load git/2.18.0*

An example of the error as seen when trying to clone the FMS from GitHub:

Cloning into 'FMS'...
error: error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert
protocol version while accessing
https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/FMS/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack
fatal: HTTP request failed
Clone of 'https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/FMS' into submodule path 'FMS' failed


Please double check your checkout logs if you're working within the
global-workflow repo to see if you encountered a silent checkout failure.
Load the newer git version as instructed above and rerun the checkout.
