India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, parts of New Guinea island of Indonesia and
Papua New Guinea, and almost all of
Australia, particularly north western regions. Elsewhere, the rainfall amounts
received were at normal to slightly above normal levels, particularly in
southeastern China, Kashmir India, parts of the Middle East, and Indonesia. For
the past 30 days, slightly above normal rainfall fell over the Middle East, in
the border area between New Guinea and Papua New Guinea, and parts of eastern
Australia, particularly northern peninsular Queensland. Elsewhere the rainfall
amounts received were mixed.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">In this past week, overall, rainfall amounts were at near
normal levels except it was below over much of Indonesia. For the next two weeks, the NCEP GFS model
forecasts generally below normal rainfall except over parts of the Middle East,
south eastern China, and parts of Indonesia.</p>

Basin and the Brazilian Plateau.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">During the last 7 days, below-average precipitation was
observed over portions of northern and the extreme southern Brazil, Uruguay,
northeastern Argentina, northern Bolivia, western Ecuador and eastern
Colombia. Above-average precipitation
was observed over portions of central and southern Brazil, as well as northern
Peru.</p>

precipitation is predicted over portions of northern Brazil and western Peru.
Above-average precipitation is predicted for portions of northern Argentina,
northern Peru and much of Colombia.</p>
