week, bringing the last 30 day cumulative rainfall total to above 180% of
normal rainfall.<span></span></span></p>

over southeastern China, over almost all of Australia, New Guinea, parts of
Malaysia, as well as over Afghanistan. Elsewhere, in general, the rainfall
amounts received were at normal to slightly above normal levels. For the past
30 days, rainfall deficits are noted across central India, interior eastern
China, Japan, South Korea, Papua New Guinea. Elsewhere rainfall received was at
slightly elevated levels.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">In this past week, rainfall amounts were generally deficient
everywhere across the entire region except over parts of northeastern India,
Bangladesh and Burma. In the upcoming two weeks, the NCEP GFS model forecast is
predicting an approximate east-west and then a north-south rainfall pattern of
dry-west is forecast over the region in the first and second weeks respectively.<span></span></p>

southwestern US and northwestern Mexico as well as much of central and southern
Mexico during the past week.<span></span></p>

for much of eastern Mexico along the Gulf and above-average over western
