total rainfall exceeded 150mm over western Guinea, western Senegal and southern

outlooks call for an increased chance for above-average rainfall over southern
Mali, Burkina Faso, western Niger, northwestern Nigeria, as well as, throughout
portions of Chad, Sudan and western Ethiopia. In contrast, there is an
increased chance for below-average rainfall throughout several Gulf of Guinea
countries including Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cote d&#39;Ivoire, Ghana, Togo and Benin.</span></p>

Mexico while southwestern US received slightly below-average precipitation
during the past week.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days were
below-average over nearly the entire NAM domain.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">NCEP/GFS Forecasts call for below-average rainfall over
Mexico and near-average rainfall over southwestern US during the next two
weeks.</p>
