[meg.infolist.announce] no MEG 10/3

      There will be no MEG meeting this week.

       The MEG would like to pay tribute to Bill Lapenta whose sudden
passing this week has stunned us all.     Bill pushed for the formation of
the MEG back in 2012 and challenged us over the years to expand our role,
both within EMC and within the larger community.     We will always be
grateful for Bill's support and remember him for all of the leadership he
displayed within EMC, NCEP, and the NWS.
