The next Model Evaluation Group meeting will be held on Thursday March 8 at
11:30 AM EDT in room 2890 of the NCWCP.   We will record the meeting; all
recordings and presentations can be found in   https://drive.google.com/
drive/folders/0BySqFAN_J6G4cWdpNzBRMkM4ZVE       The new MEG google
calendar invitation is now active;  if you haven't been added and would
like to be, please send me a request.

      This meeting will examine multiple aspects of the extremely
high-impact nor'easter of March 2-3.

   *Logan Dawson* and *Tracey Dorian* will examine wind gust forecasts for
the Mid-Atlantic and coastal New England.

   *Deanna Spindler* and *Joe Sienkiewicz* (OPC) will review guidance for
coastal impacts, focusing on wave and surge forecasts.

   *Mike Evans* (WFO ALY) and *Geoff Manikin* will review snowfall
forecasts in the Albany, NY area including issues with GFS soundings.
