First, a quick note that the extremely busy tropical season has prevented
work on the revision of the Google calendar MEG invitation.   I hope to
have that completed by next week.

The next Model Evaluation Group meeting will be held on Thursday September
14 at 11:30 AM EDT in room 2890 of the NCWCP. We will record the meeting
presentation; all recordings and presentations (including those from last
week's initial examination of Harvey) can be found in

This meeting will cover Hurricane Irma.

    *Corey Guastini* will review tracks and intensity from the global
models and ensembles.
    *Tracey Dorian* will examine performance of the HWRF and HMON.
    *Geoff Manikin* will discuss QPF and GFS intensification of the storm.
